PART 3: Framings
This part of the course examines framings, which are stories that use a packet of knowledge about an area of life (a frame) to structure another area of life. The main examples discussed are different framings for climate change; from climate change is violence to climate change is a security threat. The choice of different framings influences how we think about climate change, and ultimately how we deal with it.
The notes include an outline of the theory, a chapter summary, a glossary and ideas for further reading.
The slides are a PowerPoint presentation which matches the one used in the video.
The exercises contain examples to analyse using the theory.
