This part of the course examines evaluations, which are stories about whether an area of life is good or bad. The first example discussed is the way that high retail sales are represented positively in the press despite the environmental damage of overconsumption. The second example looks at how travel agents lure customers into taking environmentally damaging holidays through the evaluation sunny weather is good.
